Weeping Willow Re-Done
As well as my island, I'm re-visiting Weeping Willow at the moment. I did that environment in just six weeks, so it's not exactly perfect. Well, it's not entirely finished anyway. Are artworks ever finished anyway? We always create a piece, then beam with pride when it's finished. Then re-visit it six months later, and cringe.
Anyway, I prefabricated the trees since I just originally plopped them down and resized them. I've made dock weeds to create a bit more variance on the ground. I'm re-texturing the tree swing. Replaced some of the old furniture with whole new assets. Probably re-texture the wood stove.
I'm working in short sprints at the moment, so I'm aiming to get as much done as I can in two days. I want to take a quick play though video tomorrow, so I just want to fix up anything obviously crap at the moment. Ideally, I want to add a gauntlet of trees at the end of the level, that you have to walk up to reach the end of the level. There's so much that I want to do with the level. But keep working in increments, instead of doing it all in one go.
